Shelly Bell 

Shelly BellShelly “She Seven” Bell is a spoken word poet and prose writer. She is author of the 2007 novel, All Women Are Stupid Sometimes. This year she was a National Underground Spokenword Poetry Awards nominee for Best Poet in the DC metro area and a 2010 Poet of the Year nominee for the Baltimore Crown Awards. She recently competed nationally on the Busboys and Poet’s Slam Team. She is founder of the Seven City Art Society and hosts a number of literary events in the area.

Stacy Clark 

Stacy ClarkStacy is a singer/songwriter and musician. She has released two albums: Apples & Oranges in 2007 and Connect the Dots in 2010. She has toured internationally on her own and in support of acts like Jack’s Mannequin, whom she sang backing vocals for on their album The Glass Passenger. She won the Best Pop award in 2010 and 2011 at the Orange County Music Awards. In August of last year, iTunes selected Stacy as their Artist of the Week.

MaddoxMaddox is a prose writer and humorist. He is best known for his website, The Best Page in the Universe, which has amassed over 250 million hits. In 2006, he released his first book entitled The Alphabet of Manliness. It debuted at number one on Amazon.com’s sales chart and made the New York Times Best Seller list. His next book, I Am Better Than Your Kids, comes out this November. He is also creator and host of The Best Show in the Universe web series on YouTube.

Alex Petri 

Alex PetriAlex is a writer and comedian. She pens a daily humor column for The Washington Post and contributes to the editorial page. She has also contributed to The New York Post, The Huffington Post and Collegehumor.com. She graduated from Harvard University and was selected by the school to speak at the 2010 Ivy Oration. Earlier this year, her play Hookups was produced as part of the Capital Fringe Festival.

He achieved overnight local fame in 2009 when his online video “Arlington: The Rap” was viewed 300,000 times in less than a day. He has released several albums of his music comedy including The Falafel Album – EP on Comedy Central Records. Recently, his "Raise the Debt Ceiling" video garnered national media attention and led to Remy appearing on Countdown with Keith Olbermann, CNN and Fox News. His YouTube videos have been viewed nearly 70 million times.
